Amos Sanfilippo has been a life-long musician. Hailing from the Midlands in the UK, he studied at the London Conservatory of Music before immigrating to the US in 1987. He has taught guitar for over 25 years both in Los Angeles, and his private studio, as well as at Ray Mullin Music for the past 20 years. His passion for sharing knowledge reflects in the students he has taught, many who have been with him for several years. His ability to quickly break down song structures allows his students to progress at a quick pace. From lesson room to stage, beginner to advanced, no matter what your musical goals, Amos can help you achieve them.
In addition, as a player, Amos has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Rock Music including Bill Ward, Ray Gillen, Mike Inez, and Eric Singer. He was a member of the Los Angeles based band, London with Nadir D’Prist, during their heyday on the Sunset Strip. Upon moving to the East Coast he became the guitarist for the number one Van Halen Tribute band, Diver Down, who he continues to perform with today. He is also the touring guitarist with Vocalist, Eric Martin of the mega band, Mr. Big. A versatile player he is the lead guitarist in the Tribute show, Foreigner’s Journey as well as several other New England bands whose styles range from Classic Rock, to Funk to RnB to Country. Amos also writes, sings and produces his own project, Tribal Soul.
